Happy to be Quilting Again!

Finally getting some quilts finished - I am a happy quilter!

This Forest Quilt is quilt #1 of five quilts I've been asked to make for my uncle's cabin in the mountains.  I talked about it in an earlier blog, it was a challenge to piece, but quilting went really well, and I'm happy with the results.

I quilted a motif in the 9 patches with echo stitching, and curves and feathers in the solid squares, with a leaf and spiral border pattern

Here's a picture of the detail from the back.

My stretched Juki was in the shop for 2 1/2 months, and arrived home the day before we went on vacation, so now I'm  home and there's quilting to do, so gottta go!!

  3. I found you through Sew Many Ways and her linking party. I did not put anything on this time, but I have enjoyed seeing what others have done. You are quite ambitious to take on that many quilts for your uncle! I don't know whether I would be up to that challenge or not!
    Happy Quilting!
