Wedding Dress Quilt with Bridesmaid Dress

This Wedding Dress Quilt was a bit different, the bride asked me to include fabric from her bridesmaid's dress, and wanted a traditional pattern.  I think it turned out well, and Katie was really happy with it!


Here is a picture of the wedding dress (not the bride).  

The wedding dress was silk, and the bridesmaid's dress was purple chiffon over a stretchy polyester lining.  Quite a challenge, but after stabilizing, it worked out well.


The quilting was a modified feather pattern with open areas to show off the beautiful fabric.
